I like to wander around the web reading about books and bookblogs, etc. There are so many amazing, well-written blogs out there about literature. I found quite a few interesting sites tonight. One I have decided to add to my googlereader so I can follow it regularly. http://litlove.wordpress.com/ is one that looks good. The name of this blog is Tales from the Reading Room. I found another site entitled "Bookgirl's nightstand." I love that title! She has an etsy store with way cute stuff in it. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5789830 Etsy stores are a branch of ebay (I think) where people sell handcrafted items.
Here is a short instruction videa on RSS Feed. It is place to put all the sites you like to follow so that you only have to check one location and not every single location of all your favorite sites. http://www.commoncraft.com/rss_plain_english

This comment has nothing to do with RSS feeds. I did, however, want to post some info. on LDS fiction writers. The Deseret News (a while ago) listed the Whitney Award winners (awards for "outstanding novels by LDS authors". Here's the list of 2007 winners (I'm not sure 2008 have been announced yet):
Romance/women's: Counting Stars by Michele Paige Holmes
Mystery/suspense: Sheep's Clothing by Josi S. Kilpack
Young adult: Fablehaven 2: Rise of the Evening Star by Brandon Mull
Speculative: Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale
Historical Fiction: Out of Jerusalem: Land of Inheritance by Heather Moore
Best Book by a new Author: Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George
Novel of the Year: On the Road to Heaven by Coke Newell
I haven't read any of them so I can't make any recommendations but I know at one point you commented on LDS fiction so I thought this might be helpful.
I did not realize that Fablehaven was written by an LDS author, not that Shannon Hale is LDS. Do you think it is the same Shannon Hale that wrote The Princess Academy and Austinland? I may go look that up.
Thanks for the list, Marvelle!
It is the same Shannon Hale.
