Another bookblog that I like is entitled the striped armchair. Eva is the author and she seems very kind, thoughtful, and well read. I believe she just turned 23. She has a chronic illness and had a flare-up last year and so at the moment is unable to work or finish her graduate degree. She is able to spend a lot of time reading and blogging. I enjoy her comments and insights. I got the library loot idea from her. She helped me with my questions about getting library loot going here.
Check out the right sidebar of her blog containing her blogroll. Whenever I want to explore some new bookblogs I just pick one from her list. I probably should be more systematic about it, but I just pick ones that have great titles like Stuck in a Book, 1 More Chapter, or Everyday Reads.
Eva is also doing a World Citizenship Challenge 2009. You can join the challenge and have a choice of committing to different levels of reading challenges. I joined for the world citizenship level 101 which means I committ to read one book about world citizenship this year! I am trying for moderation in joining any book challenges. I want to have fun, not be stressed!
