how many books do you read?

I am wondering how many books everyone reads in a month. Please take the poll to answer that question. Don't answer how many books you wish you read in a month! Just how many you realistically read right now in your life. (Don't count all the pictures book you may be reading to your children at night!) I probably read between 4 and 6 books a month. I would love to read more but other things take precidence right now.

I read about 3-4 books a month. I always wish that I could read more. I love to read and I am pretty much worthless when I have a good book I am reading.

I'm with you, Tonya. I am totally worthless when I get involved in a book. In fact, my family gets quite annoyed with me because sometimes they can't even get my attention. I totally escape into the book.

I usually read about 2 fiction and between 3-8, nonfiction. When it comes to nonfiction I don't usually read the whole book, sometimes just a chapter or two and sometimes most of the book. I also start one or two fiction books a month that I don't finish. I read what interests me and skip the boring stuff.

The number of books I read each month definitely varies; what's constant is that reading is always a wonderful pleasure.
