Hi. My name is Tami. I am the author of this blog. You can contact me by posting a comment or emailing me at readaton@gmail.com. I am also happy to add you as a friend at www.goodreads.com where I keep track of everything I am reading.

I LOVE to read. I am pursuing my master's degree in library and information science at San Jose State University. Right now I mostly use this blog for class assignments.

No matter your reading tastes you will find books for you here. Enjoy!

So excited!

I found a way cool website tonight. I have very high hopes for it. Granted my hopes may be dashed, but I am still going to be optimistic. It is called PaperBookSwap.

It is a place to trade the books that you do not want anymore. After you post 10 books the first time you get 2 free credits. 1 credit is used to order 1 book. Then as people order your books you earn 1 credit for each book. You do have to pay for the postage to mail your books away, but then others pay for the postage for the books you request. Using the website is free, you only pay postage to mail your books. I put 11 books on this evening and 2 of them have already been requested by other members. I used my 2 credits to order The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R King and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Mauriel Spark. If this works, this may be a great way for me to read and then pass on my books to others who may enjoy.

I will keep everyone posted on how it goes.
