cheerful books

I am still really feeling like we need a cheerful book to break up all the emotionally difficult books that we read. Personally, I "enjoy" the emotionally difficult books, but I do take breaks and read different stuff myself. So I am thinking our book group may need a break as well. I found what look like to be two good lists of lighter reads. Has anyone read any of them to give us some feedback?

List one

I've read the same ones as you plus The Girl With the Pearl Earring and The Persian Pickle Club. I wouldn't necessarily classify The Girl as a lighter read.
