planning
I am having a fabulous time planning our book selections for our January book club meeting. As you know we are planning to meet on December 9th and then not again until our regular time in January. So we will have plenty of time for reading. I have decided to base the books around the theme of "Winter Tales." I am branching out a bit in my creativity. I hope everyone is up to a creative challenge. It will be tons of fun!

I think your ideas are always fun and I appreciate the effort you put in to make the book club interesting. So I'm excited to see what we read for January. Oh, and I haven't finished Life of Pi, but I have to say that the argument between the 3 religious leaders is my favorite part so far. (It was when they find out Pi is attending all 3 religious services at the beginning.) It was hilarious, especially since I'm listening to it on tape!
I'm going to be reading Alice In Wonderland because the new movie coming out is going to be like the book, which is A LOT different than the Disney movie. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in reading it ... Any thoughts?
