Loved it, loved it! This is the book Brooke and I are reading for our library book club that meets tomorrow night. It was not at all what I was expecting from the title or the cover and maybe that is why I loved it so much. A great YA fiction read.
So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? (Meg Ryan in You've Got Mail).

Do you think Kimmie would like it?
I don't know. Brooke read it, but not Sadie. One of the main topics is homelessness so maybe the subject matter isn't right for a 6 year old yet. But it would probably be just fine if you read it to her and then you guys could talk about it together. I am not planning to encourage Sadie to read it yet.
I'm adding this to my "to read" list. I'm also going to read Lois Lowry's "The Giver." I can't believe I've never read it. It's supposed to be good too.
The Giver is Great! And supposedly it's the first book in a series. Are any of you at goodreads? It's kinda like a facebook for books. You can add books you've read, are currently reading, and want to read, and review them and comment back and forth. It's really fun.
BTW, this is Ashley Ruger
Yes, I am on goodreads under Tami Austin. I tried to find you Ashley, but I could not. Would you please add me as a friend there? Thanks!
I'm sorry, I didn't have my last name on there. But I've just added you as my friend.
